Location is perfect, right across from Market Square. Room cleanliness was lacking; I found hair in the shower. Staff were friendly and helpful.

First off, I was charged extra for parking because they didn't mention the one-car-per-room rule anywhere. Plus, the room smelled of smoke, and we found a massive roach in the bathroom. Just gross!

Staying here was great since we had easy walking access to iconic sites like the Alamo, which is just a little over 1.5 km away, and we could stroll down to the vibrant River Walk, not to mention the delicious restaurants like La Margarita, only a few steps from our room, making everything so convenient for our weekend strolls; the hotel also offered free parking and a clean room with fresh bedding which was nice, but the property could use some updates and a deep clean.

Location is fantastic, just a short walk from the Riverwalk and Market Square. Breakfast area was cramped with limited seating. Staff was friendly and attentive. Could improve on cleanliness, especially in the bathrooms. Overall, a decent place for the price.

Much better than my previous experience. Clean room, well-maintained interiors, and a tidy pool with fresh towels. The staff deserves major credit for their excellent service. The room was cozy and well-equipped: comfortable beds, a functioning coffee machine, and free Wi-Fi, albeit with slow speeds. Breakfast was decent, offering a variety of options. the eggs were not always replenished, which was disappointing. Excellent location, just steps from Market Square and the Riverwalk. That said, the bathroom was unnecessarily cramped, and some cleanliness issues need addressing. A fitness center was advertised but didn’t exist. With minor adjustments, this place could shine even brighter.

The location is perfect for exploring the local markets! The outdoor pool was a delightful surprise, perfect for lounging. Breakfast was a tasty treat, and the staff made us feel so welcome!

My friends and I had a blast staying near Market Square and indulging in mouth-watering tacos and shopping for cool souvenirs. The pool was lit, and we even had a mini pool party one night! The central location made it easy to hit up the nearby attractions with mad vibes!
Only thing missing to turn up the heat even more would be a chill outdoor hangout spot where we jam out and chillax with other young peeps.

Great location near Market Square and Mi Tierra, but the hotel is outdated. The room smelled musty at first, and despite being clean, it had roaches running around. Breakfast was a letdown—just carbs and not enough at peak times. The air conditioning was a lifesaver, though. Staff interaction was mixed; one was rude when I asked about laundry options. The lobby had a weird smell, which added to the discomfort. If you prioritize location over comfort, it might work, but I’m leaning towards finding somewhere better next time.

Temperature control functioned perfectly, keeping the room cool amid the heat outside. I did notice a lack of an elevator, which could be inconvenient for some guests. Daily housekeeping services were clearly communicated at check-in and were easy to request as needed. The corner room offered easy parking access, making it convenient for our stay. the room provided a relaxing atmosphere, but the breakfast area could use better management for peak times.

we were disappointed to find that there were no tea and coffee facilities in the room, which would have been a nice touch for early mornings or late nights. The sitting area in our room was cozy, but the carpeted floor seemed a bit worn and could have used a thorough cleaning. We also noticed that the free toiletries provided were minimal, lacking some essential items that we usually expect in a hotel room. the flat-screen TV in the room was a good size and offered a decent selection of channels. We appreciated having an AM/FM alarm clock to help us wake up on time for our activities. One area that definitely needs improvement is the cleanliness of the bathroom. We noticed rust around the drain in the bathtub, peeling paint, and an overall outdated look. The stained office chair and old carpet didn't help improve the overall impression of the room either. Despite these issues, the staff at La Quinta Inn were friendly and helpful, and the pool area was well-maintained. The location was convenient for exploring nearby attractions like the historic market square.

The River Walk was great for shopping and dining. The free breakfast had waffles - I felt like a chef! The hotel is close to many attractions - convenient!
Homeless people wandering around didn't quite give me a sense of security.

The proximity to downtown River Walk made it easy to explore the area without needing to drive. the housekeeping service was excellent, ensuring a clean room during our stay. Despite some minor issues, the room had a functional refrigerator and nice tile in the bathroom, which added a touch of comfort.
The unfriendly staff charged extra for an early arrival, and the lack of control over the room's AC temperature was frustrating. The hotel's overall appearance left much to be desired with unpainted surroundings.

stayed at a cozy hotel that was just across from market square. the room was clean and very comfortable, staff was friendly and helpful. enjoyed a pretty good breakfast and a very nice pool. the beds were soft and the location was excellent for walking to most sites.

We were disappointed to find that our room had a strong urine smell, and it wasn't as spacious and well-equipped as advertised on the website. However, the hotel's location was convenient, and the staff was friendly and accommodating. I'll recommend this hotel.
